COMENTARIO:
Después de participar en los festejos de una boda judía en el Lyric Opera de Chicago, Sting se dio otro baño de multitudes en United Center junto a Peter Gabriel. En este concierto hubo una nueva sorpresa, nuevamente perteneciente al set de Peter Gabriel, quien decidió sustituir “No self control” del álbum “Peter Gabriel III” (1980) por la no menos genial “Digging in the dirt”, del disco “Us” (1992), qué está entre mis favoritos de toda una vida.
Empezaron a oírse rumores de que Sting publicaría nuevo álbum a finales de noviembre, pero aún se desconoce el título ni el estilo del mismo. Dominic Miller, Rhani Krija, Shaggy, The Last Bandoleros y el laudista iraquí Thabet Azzawi (¿si Sting necesitaba un laudista por qué no recurrió a Edin Karamazov?) han participado en algunas de las muchas sesiones de grabación.
