En el concierto de Manchester se tocó por primera vez en todo el tour todo un clásico de Simon & Garfunkel, “Homeward bound”, tan solo un día después de que se estrenara “The sound of silence”, que nuevamente había desaparecido del set. Durante estos días se anunció que Sting había grabado duetos para los nuevos discos de James Taylor (que llevaba 13 años sin grabar un álbum de temas propios) y de la joven Ivy Levan.
