COMENTARIO:
El set de los conciertos europeos permanecía inalterable pero no suponía un problema, a estas alturas estaba ya lo suficientemente rodado como para que fuera equilibrado y del gusto del público que no conociera en profundidad las carreras en solitario ni de Sting ni de Simon. Analicemos el set, tocaron un total de 35 canciones: 5 de Simon & Garfunkel (“Mrs. Robinson”, “America” - cantada en formato acústico por Sting -, “The boxer”, “Cecilia” y “Bridge over troubled water”), 12 de Simon en solitario, 5 de ellas de su álbum más éxitoso “Graceland” (“The boy in the bubble”, “Mother and child reunion”, “50 ways to leave your lover”, “Dazzling blue” - de su último álbum de estudio de 2011 -, “Graceland”, “Still crazy after all this years”, “Me and Julio down by the schoolyard”, “That was your mother”, “The cool cool river”, “Hearts and bones”, “Diamonds on the soles of her shoes” y “You can call me Al”), 7 de The Police (“So lonely”, “When the world is running down”, “Driven to tears”, “Walking on the moon”, “Message in a bottle”, “Roxanne” y “Every breath you take”), 7 de Sting en solitario (“Brand new day”, “Fields of gold”, “Englishman in New York”, “Fragile”, “The hounds of winter”, “End of the game” - una cara B - y “Desert rose”) y por último 4 covers (“Ain’t no sunshine” - de Bill Withers, 1971 - , “Mystery train” - de Little Junior’s Blue Flames, 1953 -, “Wheels”- de Chet Atkins, 1979 - y “When will I be loved?”- de The Everly Brothers, 1960 -.
Sting volverá a visitar Suecia muy pronto, a finales de julio participará en dos festivales en las ciudades de Helsingborg y Östersund.AUDIENCIA:
