Sting dijo: "la última vez que tocamos aquí nos separamos", la gira Synchronicity terminó drásticamente a principios de 1984 en Australia, aunque mucha gente lo desconocía suponía el final de las actividades de la banda durante 23 años. Este concierto contó además como teloneros del grupo local "The Basics".
