Se trataba del primero de los siete conciertos que Sting daría este verano en Alemania, aunque se acababa de confirmar un octavo concierto que se celebraría en Berlín el 31 de octubre. Fue todo un éxito esta primera comparecencia ante sus seguidores alemanes, Sting había reestructurado el repertorio para la ocasión, estrenaba en el tour un conocido hit policiaco “Spirits in the material world”, pero a cambio se habían sacrificado los temas “Waiting for the break of day”, del disco que sacó el pasado año junto a Shaggy, y el baladón “Fragile”.
