COMENTARIO:
Al estar enmarcada la actuación dentro de un importante Festival francés, Joe Sumner no tuvo la oportunidad de ser el telonero de su padre, pero sí de ser su corista en numerosos momentos y además de contar con su momento de lucimiento: ese tributo a Bowie que hace cada noche desde que la gira arrancara a primeros de febrero.
En el cartel de este día también actuaba el trompetista de origen libanés Ibrahim Maalouf, buen amigo de Sting, que tocó en su disco “If on a winter’s night…” (2009) y que ha colaborado en vivo en alguna ocasión, como en el mediatico concierto de reapertura de la parisina Sala Bataclan, un año después de producirse allí un terrible ataque terrorista.
En este Festival también participaron Martin Garrix, Klingande y el siempre polémico Justin Bieber.
