COMENTARIO: 

Con este concierto en el O2 de Berlín se daba inicio a la gira europea de Paul Simon y Sting, unos días más tarde de lo previsto. Mientras estaba en Nueva York, Sting sufrió una fuerte gripe que le obligó a cancelar hasta 4 compromisos: su aparición en la fiesta de décimo aniversario de su discográfica Cherrytree Records, su participación en el tributo al desaparecido director de orquesta norteamericano pero de origen austriaco Julius Rudel, y los dos primeros conciertos de su tour europeo con Simon, que tenían que haberse celebrado en Cracovia (Polonia) el día 13 de marzo y en Praga (República Checa) el 14 de marzo. La gira de 21 conciertos arrancó con éxito y con un repertorio casi idéntico al tocado en tierras australianas y neozelandesas. La única variación fue que Sting en su set decidió reemplazar el tema “Seven days” por “Englishman in New York”.
