COMENTARIO: 
Festival gratuito de 3 días de duración. Sting & Shaggy actuaron el segundo de los días. Al final el concierto fue en un pequeño escenario montado en el Ayuntamiento de la Ciudad y ante un selecto grupo de invitados.

COMENTARIO: 

Sting confirmó su presencia en el Retro C Trop Festival en solitario al igual que gran parte de su Tour europeo. Después se sumó el jamaicano Shaggy en igualdad de condiciones y no como artista invitado como primeramente se anunció. Ambos cerraron la segunda y última jornada de este Festival que había tenido como platos fuertes de su primera jornada al grupo Trust y a Roger Hodgson, el ex líder de Supertramp.

COMENTARIO: 

Concierto celebrado en un llamativo escenario situado en una zona industrial de Luxemburgo por donde ya recabó Sting con su anterior Tour, el del disco “57th & 9th”. De los temas que se cayeron en Brouwersdam (Holanda) por tratarse de un Festival tan solo se recuperó uno, “Fragile”.

COMENTARIO: 

Sting & Shaggy cerraron ante 40.000 personas la segunda jornada del Festival Concert at Sea celebrado en Brouwersdam (Holanda). También tocaron Ronnie Flex & Deuxperience, Miss Montreal o Guus Meeuwis. Al tratarse de un Festival y al ser el tiempo más limitado se suprimieron dos temas: “Crooked tree” y “Fragile”.

COMENTARIO: 

El concierto de St. Margarethen (Austria) también contó con una constante lluvia que empapó a los asistentes que no quisieron perderse la curiosa unión entre Sting y el jamaicano Shaggy. Después de dos días en el repertorio desapareció “If I ever lose my faith in you” y se abrió con la imprescindible “Englishman in New York”. Los momentos más divertidos seguía cosechándolos la teatral “Crooked tree”.

CONCIERTO EN BRATISLAVA CASTLE, BRATISLAVA (ESLOVAQUIA). (26/6/2018).

El concierto tuvo el mismo repertorio que el del día 23 de junio. 

COMENTARIO: 

Un concierto muy celebrado, Sting sigue vendiendo muchos discos allí. Aprovechando su paso por el país se le entregó el disco de oro por las ventas de su anterior álbum, “57th & 9th”. Mientras estaban en Bratislava, Dominic Miller, su hijo Rufus y Josh Freese coincidieron casualmente con el icónico guitarrista Steve Vai y aprovecharon la ocasión para fotografiarse con él. Fruto de este encuentro quizás se produzca una colaboración de Freese con Vai una vez que termine sus compromisos con Sting & Shaggy.

COMENTARIO: 

Como decía un artículo: “La gente estaba desconcertada con la colaboración entre Sting y Shaggy y eso a ellos les encantaba”. El segundo concierto en Atenas se presentó accidentado, una fuerte tormenta amenazó con suspenderlo, pero después de secar el suelo del escenario algo a lo que colaboró durante unos instantes el propio Sting el concierto se celebró y además con destacadas sorpresas. El hit en solitario de Sting “If I ever lose my faith in you” abrió el show y se añadió un nuevo medley de un tema de Shaggy y otro de Sting, “Oh Carolina” y “We’ll be together” mientras que se prescindió del hit policiaco “Spirits in the material world”.
