COMENTARIO:

Último concierto en suelo americano de esta gira que está resultando ser todo un éxito. Por desgracia solo quedan dos conciertos en Canadá y su futuro es una autentica incógnica, y más ahora con los planes de Sting de lanzar un nuevo álbum en otoño. El concierto en el Key Arena había agotado también todo el papel y nadie imagiaba la enorme sorpresa que presenciarían allí. Eddie Vedder, el líder de Pearl Jam, fue el invitado sorpresa devolviéndole así a Sting el favor por participar el pasado 2 de mayo en el concierto que dio con su banda en el Madison Square Garden. El tema que cantaron en ambos conciertos fue el mismo, “Driven to tears”, un clásico policiaco que entusiasma especialmente a los Pearl Jam, y que además cuenta, como siempre, con un cierre clamoroso a cargo del violinista Peter Tickell. Pero Eddie no solo quiso cantar con Sting, también quiso hacerlo con Peter Gabriel, y ambos hicieron una magnifica versión de “Red rain”. El repertorio de esta noche únicamente contó con alguna ligera modificación en el orden de las canciones. Todos deseamos que haya un DVD/Blue Ray de esta gira.
