SETLIST:
- Sweet emotion (con Steven Tyler y Jeff Beck)
- Stand by me (con Lady Gaga)
- King of pain (con Lady Gaga)
COMENTARIO:
Steven Tyler, Nicki Minaj, Karmin, Rascal Flatts, DJ Pauly D, Jennifer Lopez, Sublime with Rome, David Guetta, Kenny Chesney y Lady Gaga.
INVITADOS:
Jeff Beck, Sting, Randy Jackson, Nicole Scherzinger, Natasha Bedingfield y Usher.

ACTUACIÓN EN 92Y's CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES, THERESE L. KAUFMANN CONCERT HALL, NUEVA YORK, NY (USA). (14 y 15/9/2011).

SETLIST:
- Piano Trio nº. 2 “Raveille” / Fear no more the heat o’ the sun (con Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio)
- Fragile (con Kalinchstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio)
COMENTARIO:
Sting (Voz y laúd), Joseph Kalichstein (Piano), Jaime Laredo(Violín) y Sharon Robinson (Cello).
AUDIENCIA:
900 espectadores cada día.

FEAR NO MORE THE HEAT O' THE SUN (William Shakespeare)

Fear no more the heat o' the sun,
Nor the furious winter's rages;
Thou thy wordly task hast done
Home art gone, and ta'en thy wages;
Golden lads and girls all must,
As chimney-sweepers, come to dust

Fear no more the frown o' the great;
Thou art past the tyrant's stroke:
Care no more to clothe and eat;
To thee the reed is as the oak:
The sceptre, learning, physic, must
All follow this, and come to dust

Fear no more the lightning flash,
Nor the all dreaded thunder stone;
Fear not slander, censure rash;
Thou has finished joy and moan;
All lovers young, all lovers must
Consign to thee, and come to dust

No exorciser harm thee!
Nor no witchcraft charm thee!
Ghost unlaid forbear thee!
Nothing ill come near thee!
Quiet consummation have;
And renowned be thy grave!

...Y NUEVA GIRA

Sting (Voz y bajo), Dominic Miller (Guitarra), David Sancious (Teclados), Vinnie Colaiuta (Batería) y Jo Lawry (Coros).
AUDIENCIA:

LA HISTORIA DE...

THE PIRATE'S BRIDE

LETRA ORIGINAL

Sometimes in the light at the edge of the world
Is the ghost of a ship with it's black sail furled
And night after night she would stand on the shore
And dream of the love that she knew before

The tide rolls out, the tide rolls in
Without a thought for the ways of men

We set sail for the Spanish Main
To rob the ships of the Queen of Spain
And she would be his pirate's bride
She gave him the pistol and the sword at his side

The tide rolls out, the tide rolls in
Without a care for the ways of men
I'd give three ships of Spanish gold
To see my love again

Full fathom five my true love lies
In a fine wooden casket with gold on his eyes
Where is the glory and where is the pride?
Where is the joy for the pirate's bride?

The tide rolls out, the tide rolls in
Without a care for the ways of men

Here in the light at the edge of the world
He'd wait for a ship with it's black sail furled
And day after day he would stand on the shore
And dream of the life that he knew before

The tide rolls out, the tide rolls in
Without a care for the ways of men
I'd give three ships of Spanish gold
To see my love again

A profundidad cinco mi verdadero amor yace

COMENTARIO:
Sting (Voz y bajo), Dominic Miller (Guitarra), David Sancious (Teclados), Branford Marsalis (Saxofón), Vinnie Colaiuta (Batería) y Jo Lawry (Coros).

Bob Geldof fue el encargado de presentar al premiado y de entregarle su galardón; Dustin Hoffman leyó pasajes de la recién publicada autobiografía de Sting, "Broken music"; y numerosos cantes hicieron sus particulares versiones de los éxitos del ex-líder de PoliceElvis Costello ("Every little thing she does is magic"), Wynonna ("If I ever lose my faith in you"), John Mayer ("It's probably me"), Mary J. Blige ("Roxanne"), The Black Eyed Peas ("Walking on the moon"), Dave Matthews ("The bed's too big without you"), Rufus Wainwright ("King of pain"), Elton John ("Mad about you"), Kylie Minogue ("Every breath you take") y Charles Aznavour, Herbie Hancock & Chris Botti ("Moon over Bourbon Street").
